My experience is primarily with the casinos in the San Diego area, but from what I have seen, the others are similar.

Essentially, the Indian casinos are no different than any others as far as blackjack is concerned. There are double deck and shoe games, an occasional rare single deck game, and variants such as SuperFun 21 and the rip-off 6:5 payout single deck. Rules vary somewhat, with the dealer usually hitting soft 17.

Many of the pit personnel relocated from Las Vegas or Reno. Some of the casinos (Harrah's Rincon, for example) are even managed by Nevada gaming corporations.

There were some opportunities early-on, but the Indians learned quickly and are now quite counter-savvy. Spread brazenly and/or camp out too long and you will be backed off, usually politely.

One caveat: Indian Reservations are Sovereign Nations. This means that when you enter a reservation, you leave some of your rights behind. If you run afoul of the tribal justice system, you may be dealt with harshly and find that you have limited recourse.

So how do you manage in Indian casinos? You mention spread brazenly/ or campe to long, describe brazenly.. ANd you also mention afoul? That is all I would be doing is counting if and when..

Seems like card counting is all together getting SUPER tough if it isnt already... But I dont want to let my blackjack book I bought few months go to waste heh.. I want to put in some work... I really appreciate the feedback and hope to hear some more.

You manage in Indian casinos the same way you manage anywhere else - keep your sessions short and use the occasional cover play.

Don't despair. While none of the games in the local casinos would merit traveling across the country to play, there are several games that are quite playable for those of us who already happen to be here.

If any casino cares to be serious about eliminating card counters from their games, all they have to do is to make the 6/5 game standard fare. My prediction is that this is the course that will eventually be taken. See if you can trade your blackjack books/software for poker books before it's too late.

On reservations where the dealers keep their own tips, the floor personnel always seem to be less knowledgeable on average than at other casinos where dealers pool tips.

Actually, Griffin and agencies like it are a gigantic scam perpetrated on the casinos by taking advantage of their fear, paranoia, and ignorance.

I am aware of many players, pro and recreational alike that are listed in Griffin, etc. It does not significantly interfere with their playing.

These agencies have inflated both the threat that card counters pose to casinos and their effectiveness in stopping them in order to con money from the casinos.

In addition, they unlawfully collect and distribute photographs of people who have not commited any crime.

Glad to see you remember what I have been telling you since we first met. In some parts almost word for word. I'm proud of you, fight the power!
