    rick: 8 decks

    parker, i agree whit you; i am beating not easily but yes in the long run 6 decks cut at 2 packs of the end; i play only if i have 3 spots possible playing the minimum one chips ang going to the maximum when i have an advantage 3 spots or more; true it is wild swings but i win 67.8% of my sessions; true the losing sessions are real bad as you can imagine; in this casino they will change the rule playing 8 decks cut at 3; i agree whit you; my career is finished; the only possibility go to the usa and try not to be identified

    Parker: Session results

    > i win 67.8% of my sessions;

    Session results are meaningless!

    As I have written many times, session results mean absolutely nothing. The cards do not know when you start and stop playing - it's all one session.

    Want a winning session record? All you have to do is end your sessions every time you go ahead 5 units or drop behind 100 units. Just flat-bet and play basic strategy. You will have a glorious session record!

    Of course, you will also lose money in the long run. Oh, well. :-)

    As Ed Tice nicely discusses in a post elsewhere on this page, the question is not really if a game is "beatable" but whether it is worth your time to play it.

    I have long felt that it is better to play good games less frequently than to grind it out at inferior games just because they are close.

    For example, I have nine casinos within an hour's drive of my home in southern California. I only play at three of them, and those only rarely. Instead, I make frequent trips to Las Vegas, Reno, and Laughlin, and less frequent trips to Tunica, to take advantage of the superior games to be found in those places.
