Houdini: Cellini the mystery man has re- appeared.

After pulling his books from the shelf,or an inoperable brain tumor or presumed to be dead by this week, or a vacation, or a surrender to the enemy,or a business deal gone bad. The mystery man himself Cellini has risen from the dead.

The humor in this is his backers are claiming there were rumors being spread. (That's right the rumors came straight from the horses mouth,Cellini himself.)

Cellini is a true mystery to the card counting community.

Keep in mind I'm only voicing an opinion in general. Others may think Cellini and his ways are the best thing that has ever happened to the card counting communty.

I'm just wondering about the SIN(Surveilliance Information Network) meeting on the east coast that was held last week? Their new idea is reaching card counters and teams via internet. Dont these guys have a more usefull way to waste time and money?

I must go,hope you appreciate the information.

Cellini is sounding more and more like The Pro from BJ21 freepages days. I think the Pro died at least twice, and somehow got reincarnated as his brother. The Pro has either gone underground, changed his handle and persona to avoid the intimidation of being challenged with his weird actions. Perhaps he and Cellini are neighbors!

Cellini has no value to me, nor his outrageous $100 manuscript.

If it sounds like BS, most of us can rest assured it is indeed BS!

I gave up on reading post from the a'hem... PRO a long time ago. It never did ocurred to me Cellini and the pro could be the same person. Cellini magicly appeared while his new book was being published, not surprising. Is this about the same time the a'hem.. PRO disappeared? If Cellini and the pro are the same,he sure did gaff me. How many handles does Cellini really use? In the past he's been known to use different variations, but I never recognizied the PRO as being one of them.

    StrayFrog: not the same person

It never did ocurred to me Cellini and the pro could be the same person.

some may perceive cellini to be a bit goofy at times (aren't we all?), but he knows his subject matter.

the pro has no clue about advantage blackjack.

they are not the same person.

It is true that they both seem determined to establish a reputation for erratic behavior. In addition, as far as I know, they have never been seen together.

Nonetheless, they are definitely not the same person.

Cellini's recent antics take nothing away from the fact that his book contains a wealth of insider information about the surveillance industry that was previously unavailable anywhere.

Whether or not is is worth the $100 asking price will, of course, continue to be debated.

Particularly the "aren't we all" comment. And I took the original sugestion as a good joke. The book is worth what it's worth. It is certainly worth $100 to many people. In time it will be worth less, and perhaps the price will drop. Such is the value of information.

Coug Fan: Book is worth $100 IMHO

MY EV is about $50-$100 per hour depending on game conditions. If Cellini's book buys me a total of 2 additional hours at all casino's, then it is worth the price.

For me, Cellini's book is worth far more than $100, but BJA and PBJ are each worth many times the value of Cellini's book. Of the three, I would say that PBJ and BJA both have tremendous positive EV which greatly dwarfs that of Cellini's book. However, Cellini's book does have positive EV as well.
