    CVData question

Hello to all! My first post here...

I just bought CVBJ and I have to say it’s an excellent software!

    Two questions…

    1)
Is it possible to simulate player/dealer edge with given first card?

    2)
    This is an example…
    6,6 vs 3 (DAS) Hit: -0.23, Split: -0.10
The right choice is obviously to split.
I’d like to know the TC when splitting ev rises from -0.10 to the positive side.
Am I able to do this with CVBJ?

    Thanks,
    Poquer

CV Blackjack is practice only. You would need CVData for questions like that.

Use the Index Generator in CVData for that.

    CVData problem...
Define Playing Strategy > Open an existing Playing Strategy

    CVame
    Run-time error '13':
    Type mismatch

When I click Ok CVData closes.

    I have Windows 7 (64 bit).

Sounds like a corrupted file. Delete file c:\ProgramData\qfit\cvdata\namessim.dat. It will be recreated when you run CVData again.

Didn't help. I also tried to re-install CVData.
    CVBJ and CVCX are OK.

Go to Tools then Export and create an export file. E-mail it to [email protected].

I used the Index Generator (Full Report checked).
Zen Count index for 6,6 vs 3 (DAS) is -6.
CVIndex Report shows true counts from -16 to +4.
At +4 splitting ev is ~ -0.04. I guess that the answer to my question is +6 or +7.
How am I able to see more true count points in the report?

I just did a quick sim. The percentage of hands in a normal LV game where you will get a 66v3 at a +6 with Zen is 0.000% to three decimals. Rare enough hand without having three low cards coming out with a +6. Didn't bother to extend the number to more digits. Sorry, this just isn't interesting.

You will find that hands with two indices (do such and such between two numbers) are interesting, but have no value.

I'm trying to create Indices for rider bets (from SW's "Basic Blackjack")

You'll have to explain the exact situation.
