Whether you win or lose has nothing to do with where you are versus your theoretical. If you have won enough you might raise your betting ramp due to a higher bankroll. If you lose enough you may lower it due to a smaller BR. This is ROR concerns not expectation of the future balancing the past or past trends continuing.
