paranoid android: same suited bj pays 2:1
I recently heard of a game where blackjacks of the same suit pay 2:1 (still haven't verified that the game actually exists though). I recently purchased SBA and saw that it allows you to run simulations with this rule. The results of the sim showed a SCORE of $220! This is double the SCORE for the same game where all blackjacks pay the normal 3:2. Can this be right that this one rule change could double my hourly win rate? I wouldn't expect the change to be that dramatic.

One-fourth of all naturals are suited. So, the added BS edge is 2.26%/4 = 0.57%, for a 6-deck game. Depending on spread and the original rules, this could certainly double your hourly win rate.

I played such games several times at two countries with good results. Becareful, though, I once played with a casino with such rules to attract players. It cheated by dealing seconds to compensate for the good rules.

I have said many times -- especially concerning Internet casinos -- that to me, the ultimately profitable business would be to offer the best rules possible -- better than all the competitors -- and then cheat!
