Alan: KO Preferred - Catch 22
I was wondering if someone could tell me what advantage, if any, is to be gained by adding the final four "Catch 22" plays (as outlined in BJA) to KO Preferred's rounded strategy matrix at Pivot Point. I'm pretty sure that doubling A8 v 5 & 6 is the right play at Pivot, but I'm a bit unsure about splitting 10's v 5 & 6.
Hope someone can help.

Well if you really want to use those plays, +4 is about right for splitting 10s. For 6d/8d games it's a bit higher, but a few points doesn't matter too much.
for a8 v 5,6 it's actually really close; almost exactly the same as the Key count.

That was helpful information.

Splitting tens generates way too much heat. Nobody splits tens but fools and card counters.
