Don: New Mexico
I would like to know blackjack rules played at the New Mexico indian casinos. Hit soft 17, double after splits, number of decks, etc.
Also table limits ie:$5 to 500 ??
Anybody able to help will be appreciated.

I can only address those in the immediate Albuquerque area:
- San Filipe Hollywood (~ 20 miles N of Alb):
-- 1 table of SD, S17, Dbl 10/11 only, No DAS ($10-200)
-- 2 tables of DD, S17, No DAS ($5-200)
-- 1 table of 6D, S17, DAS, RSA ($3-200)
-- More tables when busy. They accomodate extremely well!
-- All tables offer double pay bonus on 6-7-8 & 7-7-7 (still pays even $ if dealer gets 21)
-- Extremely friendly. BJ tournaments Tues, Wed, Fri. No alcohol
- Sandia (~ 4 miles N of Alb): Lots of tables. All 6D. Haven't been there in a while but rules were H17, DAS
-- Big, open, very crowded, very smoky
-- Bar on site but no alcohol while gaming
- Santa Ana Star (~ 10 miles N of Alb):
-- 2-4 tables DD, H17, No DAS ($5-300)
-- 4-6 tables 6D, H17, DAS ($5-300)
-- They open more tables (~ 15) when busy
-- Bars on site but no alcohol while gaming
-- Good dining avail
-- Long walk or shuttle from car to casino
-- I don't know of anyone who wins here (!?!?!?)
- Isleta (~7 miles S of Alb)
-- 2 tables DD, H17, DAS
(1 table $5-100, 1 table $10/25-200)
-- 6-8 tables 6D, H17, DAS ($5-500)
-- As many as ~25 tables (all 6D but 2) when busy
-- Tables limits change according to crowds
GOOD LUCK! Should I frequent the casinos in hopes of meeting Don ? ;-)
