Iconoclast: Error in Casino Player Mag?
There is a letter in the August edition of "Casino Player" magazine where a couple have a joint bankroll and play basic strategy. They asked whether they should play at the same table or separate tables.
The answer given was that they should play at the SAME table in order to reduce their variance.
I was under the impression that they should play at separate tables, since there will be a positive covariance between their hands if they play at the same table, which would increase the fluctuation of their bankroll.
Am I missing something here?

No, you're right. Who provided the answer?

I didn't see the magazine, so don't know the authors' name.
