    SBA 5.0 question. Need help!

Whats up fellow counters. I havent posted on a card counting forum in many years. It brings back memories..... Anyway, I found a unique game that I want to sim. I dusted off the old sba 5.0 and bjrm, but it doesnt work on windows 7. Do you know anyway I can get my old software to work on win 7. I dont want to spend anymore money on new counting software. I tried craigslist to buy a old win 95 or 98 computer but its not as easy as I thought. I am still looking, but I have a feeling this route will take a while. Does anyone know how to do this. Keep in mind even though I am a counter, I am no Bill Gates when it comes to computers. Thanks..

You can try running it in WinXP compatibility mode. Right click on the file and do properties. Under the compatibility tab, check the box and select an OS from the dropdown. I don't have SBA 5 so I can't test if it works, but it's worth trying.

I tried the compatibility mode before and it didnt work. After you select the operating system, do you double click the file again. thats what i did and it says "check to see if you need a 32 bit or 64 bit version of this software". I understand that sba 5.0 is 16 bit. Its so frustrating to spend all this money on software and cant use it. If there is anyone here that has a old laptop with win 95 or 98, I would be glad to take it off your hands. I have a whole bunch of american casino guides 2012 with most of the matchplays taken out for a trade

In that case, your best bet is either VM Ware or Microsoft Virtual PC with an XP image. That should work.
