Hello, I have finally gave up on back counting. It wasn't because of heat from the pit but rather heat from other players when I enter the game. It is too easy for ploppies to blame me for the bad hand they get, and yes, they tend to forget about the blackjacks they also get.
Instead of wonging in, wonging out works better for me. This way I'm not always the bad guy to blame.
Anyone else?

I play a few casinos regularly, and need to maintain good PR even though they've got me pegged, in some cases. So I generally start at the top of a shoe and start looking for excuses to sit out (helps if you grunt and complain a lot) when the count goes south.
I sit out about 20% of the time, but I also go to two hands, if possible, at plus counts. This REALLY ticks off the ploppies, but what are you gonna do? We're not in this to make friends and influence people, after all. ;-)
