    Justin: Uston SS

I have been reading about the Uston SS unbalanced count system. However, I can't find the count in any books or published articles. Does anybody know where I can get the book or website that teaches the Uston SS (strong and simple) count. Also...I know the Verite blackjack program has the option to rate the casinos by their blackjack rules. My understanding is that this info comes from a publication from 1995. Is their anything more up to date on the different casino rules or a list of the best places to play blackjack.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Very Respectfully,

    Justin

    Justin,

I can't help you with the Uston Count. However, I can point you in the best direction for blackjack conditions.

"Stanford Wong's Current Blackjack News" is updated/issued each month, and lists rules, penetration, and counting related information and news for hundreds of casinos across the country. No serious counter should visit a casino without checking the latest issue. It is available at this website's online shopping link, under Blackjack...Magazines. You will not be disappointed. I'm sure that Stanford would return your money if you are!

It was published and sold privately and really isn't worth your time. Modern-day unbalanced systems, such as K-O and Red 7 are just as strong and simple, and have all the documentation and support you need to employ them successfully.

Additionally, if you must go to a level 2 or 3 unbalanced count check out www.extremebj.com. He has 2 systems close to the SS but IMO better. Dr. Brett Harris also has a terrific level 2 system which I would think would be great for 1 and 2 decks. Just my opinion based on the count values.

The Uston SS is just like the Red 7 but fives are counted as 3 and and nines -1. Hope this is what you were looking for.
