    You should be long gone before the count goes negative!
    using the IRC of 10 you should wong out at
    5 decks left 4
    4 decks left 10
    3 decks left 16
    2 decks left 22
    1 deck left 28

    If you hit a negative number in this game you should have been long gone from the table.

    The K-O exit strategy, (in my edition) has you exiting the game even sooner than that:

    I figure, in a 6 deck game with an IRC of 10,

    5 decks left 8
    4 decks left 13
    3 decks left 18

    In a six deck game, I don't see an exit strategy for 1 or 2 decks left.

    Dreamer: follow up.

    I based the exit on a point equivalent to a hi-lo TC of -2.
    If you want to be more aggresive and leave at -1 then that is fine too.
    It is easy to calculate exit points for 1 and 2 deck games.
    In 2 deck it is again more penetration dependant and also on what count you want to leave at.
    If your casino has only one or two tables of certain good games you should save you bathroom breaks for higher negative counts because it is
    more highly probable that you will be missing a number of negative EV rounds.
    (use em at the best times)

    to you both. By seeing how you are arriving at these TC equivalents, I am learning more about using this count. I am more of a practitioner than an analyst when it comes to BJ. These internet forums have been great for showing me what I am really doing and why it works.

    Torve: It's easy to forget . . .

    It's easy to forget the difficulties of finding a good game when the only blackjack you've ever played is in front of computer, that is, any game I want, at any time. Only problem: how do I spend the winnings?
