BJ Fact: Mohegan Sun Player Alert

    Hi Everyone,

Just a friendly ''heads up'' for fellow players.

If you play at Mohegan Sun, don't let your Players Club points accumulate to any significant totals. I know personally of a player who did so, and on the very day that he was approached and informed that Mohegan Sun was now considering him a "skillful" player, the casino barred his play and 'froze' his entire Players Club account which had grown (while he was losing miserably) to over $10,000 in value. He can't even get a free hot dog!!

Bottom line is - if you consistantly lose more than you win thats fine. BUT if in Mohegan Sun's perception, you have improved on your game, they wont let you play! And to sprinkle the wound with a little salt - they (effectively) TAKE BACK the points that they CLAIM that you EARN (check the wording on the back side of your Players Club card) by 'freezing' them in their computer system.....you know, the one that tracks your play and your win/lose ratio when you submit your 'Club' card.

Its pretty sad that the state allows this form of fraud.

Ya know, I always wondered about the origin of the term "indian giver".

Why play at Mohegan Slum in the first place!

    Their game is abysmal!

On the other hand, one should NEVER let their
points accumulate too much, else they subject
themselves to what you say, or they nab you
anyway and you forfeit your hard earned points!

    Cheers

I can't argue with you.......you're absolutely correct on all counts, especially "slum"! The main purpose for the post was to advise other players so that the same would (hopefully) not happen to them. Im planning to make the same post occassionally to 'get the word' out and maybe save sombody else.

And which of the 2 do you think is better?

I also live in the area and those are the only
2 casinos within striking distance. Do I play
    at Mohegan? Rarely!

I visit there about once every 3-4 months or
so just to see IF the abysmal conditions have
    changed. They never do.

    cheers
