Jake {|:>): MT asked about Dominican Republic
Before my quadruple bypass, the Dominican Republic was a regular stop for me. Santo Domingo has many playable ES10 games.
One of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was because a really great person and AP named Julio shepherded me around Santo Domingo and the rest of the island country. Julio is a very big guy and his presence I am sure protected me in this very poor and sometimes violent country. His English is very good. He never asked for anything but I usually tipped him on winning trips. Gas is not cheap there.
I was shocked and sad when I got the news that Julio's wife Roxana suddenly died of a series of heart attacks leaving Julio grieving and with two young children to support. Roxana was a good artisan who made crafts for the tourist trade.
If you plan a trip to SD you would be wise to contact Julio to show you around. He can be reached at:
[email protected]
Say hello to him for me.

Bettie: This is the kind of information
That these community boards are just perfect for! You won't find Julio in the yellow pages or via any kind of tourist site, but here you know that you'll get a great guide who understands your play and you'll be helping a genuinely nice person (according to Jake, who I'd trust) with anything you can throw his way.
Thanks for the information Jake, I hope someone here is able to use it.

and hope that that someone is not from a casino. This is a public forum.

Bettie: Well of course
Juan has the option of helping whoever he chooses, no matter what side of the felt they're on. For the most part, I feel that players are too paranoid about their posts on public boards. We're not "monitored" as closely as most people would like to believe; just keep details to a minimum and you're safe. Perhaps this is why public boards are boring and the online equivalent of social small talk; no one wants to say anything, so we all end up saying a lot of nothing. Yawn!

Jake {|:>): Re: Well of course
I have been posting or writing for BJF for over 20 years. I would not post anything that is detrimental to a player. You can relax, if it was a problem a new e-mail would have been created. Julio is safe.
