    Gnim: BJ conditions

I se a lot of posts about: How are the conditions in this and that casino. A lot of the posts are answered with "Don't ask - it has to be keept secret!"
Why not just pick up the phone and call the casino and ask about there rules, or use email ?
And who is it that are not allowed to know this info - the casinos know there rules allready. - and the know if the rules they offer are "counter-friendly" or not. The casinos don't keep there rules a secret why do you. ?

Very True.... Some counters believe that they are practicing black magic, Umbanda or Voodoo...

The rules are only a part of what I consider the conditions. The person on the phone will probably not tell you that with their great rules they cut half the shoe away. Will they let you know that any kind of spread will bring extreme heat or that they are very tolerant?
Will they let you know that they are loaded with poorly trained dealers and your chance of finding a flasher is quite good?
Rules are important but good rules do not necessarily make it a good game for advantage play.

I fully agree with you Victoria. Most 'good rules' are found by walking around the casino rather than talking over the telphone to them.

    Best regards

Grisha: It is not that simple

We are living in the internet era and this by intself makes practically impossible to stop information flow. And of course as you said casinos know their rules. However, in many cases they may be unaware whether their conditions are bad or good for us, advantage players. So an ettiquete of omission of open info exchange on playable games roots in protection of this info from casinos rather than from other players, although the latter reason is often the case too. You can search even this particular page and find several typical examples of how bad situation may get, if casino employee gets access to sensitive info. For them elimation of playable opportunity is just another management decision like cutting down expenses and maximazing the profits. But we have contradicting goals, so why should we educate them and point their mistakes/flaws?

There is the burned land theory as well. This theory says that if a casino is not educated about bj and you go first or one of the first visitors you will make a great profit. If you go after many players you will have more hit and halp shoes.
I play a lot aces keys and not only I can never get info for what I am looking for by the net because I do not know how to make the question and if I find a way the other player will answer to me that this has nothing to do with my win
rate and will be surprised as well.
I have been to places that the games were unbitable and I made thousands of euros and was the best game for my case.

    tomto: gnim, you are right

Nobody wrote about take the phone of course
This is the only secret you really should not know . it is really that easy!! this board is more entertainment than business.
Indeed i get more infos by fone than by e-mail exchange with other counters. The informations are not perfect, because you would be dumb if you ask: "are you counter-friendly?". But you usually get the rules, much more than by many e-mail-"friends".

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage.
