I noticed the recent trend with Canadian Quebec casinos (Montreal, Lac Lemy, ...) They started out a while ago with 6 decks cut off 2, H17 but then later lighten up a bit with S17 which is a little better but still not a good game. Lately, for some reason, they started the 'No mid shoe entry' and then the last I heard is 8 decks cut 3.5!!!
This is terrible, not only for counters, for the casino too. The dealers spent most of his time shuffling the cards, and last time I was there the hand-shuffle.
I wonder if the Quebec casino got burned by some counter teams or there are some changes in management too paranoia about counters. Or maybe they just lost too much money to employee thefts and trying to blame on the counters!!!
