Jimmakos: Trip to Loutraki, Greece

Just got back from Athens.

For twenty days now, there have been 4-5 tables with CSMs, 10 min - 500 max, up to 50 min - 2500 max.

There have been 9 tables with hand-shuffled Blackjack. 4-deck, 75-80% penetration, up to 2 splits, DAS, no resplit Aces, no surrender, double any 2 cards.

These 9 tables had minimum bet 1 euro and maximum 50 euros.

7 of them were open 9pm - 5am. There were almost ALWAYS 9 hands playing. A player could play even all 9 spots. However, if you played at least one hand for yourself, you could not bet under any other player's hand. So either you started betting as much hands as possible (as far as 9 hands were full!) or you back counted and bet under all 9 hands. However, the maximum bet was very small, so you could not take advantage of the spread.

9 spots were almost ALWAYS full I REPEAT. There was no opportunity to play 4-5 spot game, not a word for a one-on-one game (duel)!!!

Yesterday night they introduced CSMs even to that tables and the bet changed to 10 min - 500 max.

CONCLUSION: Loutraki has now installed CSMs on ALL BLACKJACK TABLES.

There has been a rumour of barring 70 people in December away from Loutraki (No CSMs back then). I can't say it with full confidence.
