Blackjack conditions right now are: 6 decks with a very bad penetration (66%) Dealer stand on any 17. Split is allowed up to 4 times (1 for aces) and you can double after split. No surrender

But I heared that they are getting ready to put automatic shuffler with 8 decks. (maybe it`s done by this time, I did not go for about 1 month) Actualy, there is a lot of "want a be card counter" that are not even trying to look low profile...

There`s maybe 4 15$ (max 300$) table but don`t even thing about getting in... There`s a lot of 25$ (max 500$) but there`s is a lot, and i mean a lot of people that jump in and out during a shoe. So if you want to play at a "no mid shoe entry" table, you a to go at the 50$ (max 500$) table or in the VIP section wich is also 50$ table.

To be honnest with you, I don`t recommend anyone to play at the Montreal Casino, I truly thing that it`s the worse casino in North America!
I don`t know where you from but me I`m living in Montreal and I prefered to go to Hull Casino (better penetration), Akwesasne Mohawk Casino (near Cornwall on the USA side) or to the Foxwood and Mohegan sun. (An other indian reserve near Boston)

I hope this will Help, Good Luck if you decide to go.

I forgot to tell you one thing....
In Montreal , they allow you to play in the back someone on the table (you have a second spot to place your bet) So you can always do some backcounting and jump in. (the only proplem is to find someone who knows the basic strategie)

A other thing a notice, it`s that they don`t do nothing against people that count cards. I have seen some people telling the count to their friends real loud and the only thing I have seen is that they cut the shoe at 50%.

Half-shoeing is hardly "nothing." A six deck shoe with 50% pen is unplayable.

Of course, so is a six deck shoe with 66% pen. I don't see what a card counter would be doing there in the first place.

Go a little farther east to Casino Charlevoix , I am not sure about the counters being left alone but the shoe is dealt down to less than 1 /1/2 decks (6 deck shoe@about 75 % pen) . Same rules as Montreal as they are both controlled by Loto-Qu?bec.

Last time I was there, the rule was no mid-shoe entry. 6D, 66% pen, no surr, no mid-shoe, you got to spread like hell to win anything, maybe 2 hands of 1-20 with a huge swing!
