You can FAX or mail membership applications. But, if I understand the UK gaming law; you are supposed to be in the country when applying. Then wait 24hr.

You won't find such a place in London, mostly penetration and rules are terrible, all small joints and most are owned by the same people (Ladbrokes, William Hill etc). If you get banned from one you will probably be banned from the lot. If banned you will be sent a letter stating you are no longer welcome. When this happened to me, my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) joined other casinos I was not a member of, but I was unable to even get in the door as a guest of member.

The penetration in Britain is as miserable, as
their sandwiches are.

chilliyen: Re: London casinos
Plenty of 4 deck games with reasonable pen (70% - 80%+) depending on casino & dealer. you should get away with 1 - 20 spread, if you aren't too blatent. There are around 24 casinos in central London, most of which are easy to join. A few posh casinos require a membership fee of up to ?1000 and a referral from an existing member, but most are free......
If you can find an existing member, they can get you and 5 others in without ID, and you don't have to wait the obligatory 24 hours after registration.
Hope you have a nice time in Blighty......

Mark: Re: London casinos
I agree with the last poster chilliyen.
There are many deeply dealt four deck games to be found in London if you look in the right places.
Stay well away from any Gala casinos though. They are consistantly crap (six deck 66% pen) slow moving with a table full of angry ploppies.
When you get to London look in the yellow pages, all the casinos are there ( They aren't allowed to advertise ).
The casinos open at two in the afternoon. Find a good one and Role up a 2:30 and you might be lucky enough to get a four deck with 80% pen that you can play heads up by your self for a couple of hours (Best Case).
If your more into wonging then wait until after 8pm and choose a larger casino.
The heat you get varies from place to place. Many places will tolerate almost anything if you don't look two serious about what your doing.
Others will not be so tolerant. Two casinos can be owned by the same company and yet have totally different attitues towards you.
So basically London can be very good if you know where to look.
