    fulltimer: Canada style

Its nice to know that Canada never get overly
concerned witht he counters. One casino in Winnipeg even promotes it.

Its always nice to hear that casino "promotes" counting. Usually, they keep doing that as long as they find out that you might be a real threat. Then you find yourself "promoted" to play "only other games". Can you give more details rearding that place in Winnipeg?

I hit Winnipeg in the summer, two main large casinos. For sure its not the best rules, but if spreading large is your game,no problema.
they have 6dk,dbl 10/11,allowing mid shoe entry.
    2dk,same,they only deal 4 hands,then shuffle.

    Orson: 6D, D10 is a horrible game...

...no wonder they "promote counting". I assume there is no surrender either. Do they allow at least DAS? Do they allow mid-shoe entry at DD? How much spread is tolerated at DD?

Winnipeg rules are no good, they play European style with no hole card, double only on 10 and 11 only, unlimited splits, hit soft 17, and no insurance. They use shuffle machines with 6 deck games cutting 2 decks off and on 2 deck games they will shuffle (i Believe???) after every third hand regardless of # of players.

Although I have been successful at playing here on occasion, I would not recommend it. There is little if not any heat but the game is very poor.

Full-timer is incorrect in saying they promote card counting in which they do not, They are just not afraid of cardcounters because wqhich professional card counter in there right mind would decide to play rules like this. Myself have only played here because I am in city and there is no other game in town!!! Spend the extra $300 and go to Vegas full-timer!!!

Yes the games in Winnipeg are some of the worse I ve ever seen, but so many counters are concerned about huge spreads, I THOUGHT I would mention it.

.. did it change when I wasn't looking?

You are correct, though, I spread massively at those games when I play there, no prob. The high-rolling crowd at the 2D game play *SO* badly, they're probably flowing over with money - so no need to sweat the little Moose gnawing on a $5 table..
