    Non Counting Strategies

Newcomer to the forum here and looking to improve my level of play..as most of us are, I'm sure.
I'm looking for some help on non counting strategies and in so doing, have been using pm's out of respect to members and the game. Wouldn't want any information to get out to the other side.
If you get a pm from me please be assured I am not connected or have any affiliation to the industry other than a player.
Any help would be appreciated very much..
Thanks in advance for any advice or direction.

go to k-mart, ur gonna need 18 decks of cards, 12 multicolor permanent markers, 3 highlighters, a paintbrush, a set of toothbrush mirrors, dental floss, and a set of summer shears. contact me when task is complete. if nobody knows who you are, well, then, nobody knows if you're playing the industry or not.

    You lost me at paintbrush

I really dont have any advice for a bs player. Most of the advantages we newer APs rely on come from counting.

Make sure you know the basic strategy for your game in your sleep.

There's other tactics you could use but I think that information is best kept on PM.

    Thanks Happy...
No problem with bs...got it down cold...
It's that other "stuff" I'm trying to find and learn...
I keep reading that one should move beyond counting...
Just looking for some of those "beyond" ideas..and I agree with your pm suggestion..
That's why I made that comment in the thread starting post..

    To the OP:

Good luck in your quest for "beyond counting" knowledge. Once you get it all figured out, perhaps you can teach me all the advanced stuff because I'll probably still be counting.

It is possible to beat blackjack with non counting strategies. However, you do need a deep understanding of the game of blackjack. First let me start off by using card counting to lead into non count strategies. The reason why card counting works is because they taking into account the favorability of the deck by counting the cards. Similarly, if you can develop a way that take into account the favorability of the deck without counting the cards than that strategy is effective of beating the game of blackjack. Using the fact that high cards is good for the player and small card is good for the dealer.

There is no way to get an edge at multiple deck blackjack unless you have a sense of how to take advantage of the profitable situation created by the removal of certain kind of cards that remain to be played in the deck. Who said you have to do that using counting???

    Anybody disagree with me?

Note: Any Non Counting Strategies that do not take into account the favorability of the deck do not work. With the exception of hole carding.

I like your persistence. But, PMing people you don't know may not be considered kosher. You need to spend some more time posting before asking for high-hanging fruit.

Here's a non-counting strategy you can use: comps and coupons. More ideas will come to you as you spend time in a casino.

Have spent time there, just not enough on the + side of the ledger to be able to spend more time there...
The more that can be made will allow more time on the tables and more comps and coupons should follow...
Just looking for help to get moving in the right direction...
    Thanks...

    1. Use perfect basic strategy (hitting hard 16 when composed of two cards/standing when composed of three, and other razor thin plays)
    2. Utilize comps and coupons, as previously stated
    3. Stay alert to dealer mistakes
    4. Most importantly, find GREAT games. S17, RSA, DA2, DAS, LS, etc.

If you effectively do all of these, you will be playing damn near a break-even game, all things considered.
