    My buddy bets sports successfully for over 10 years in Vegas. He alleged that the proliferation of algorithms: CD's giving odds and so forth on the games made his job much tougher. "I could feel the difference; everyone and their brother had an algorithm." And there were plenty of newcomers all starting with various CD's instead of starting with a pad and pencil.
