What min bankroll do you think you shoud have to turn full time traveling Pro?
Depends on your game. Counting I'd want 50k minimum but I'd rather have 100k. Other games with higher edges and lower table maxes could perhaps go lower, but beware of variance if this would be your full time gig. You'll want to be playing fractional Kelly and consider drawdown scenarios.
Also your monthly nut is a huge factor. If you can live extremely cheap it's easier to do on a smaller bankroll. If your monthly cash burn rate is high, you'll need a high winrate to sustain yourself, which means higher stakes. That also means higher variance, and your monthly nut is a big drain on your bankroll that will combine to increase the effect of downswings. I think focusing on minimal expenses is at least as important, if not more, than having a certain size bankroll.
From my own experience, I am going to have to say $4300.
Seriously, I think the number of 100K that D.A. and RWM put out there is the amount needed to really have a change to succeed. So yes, you can start with less than this amount, but you need to work up to this amount as quickly and safely you can. So in the spirit of the question, I think the minimum needed to have a reasonable chance of success is 40-50K, depending on circumstances. I guess, if you are living at home or have a 'sugarmommy/daddy' and have zero expenses, you could make a reasonable serios go of it at 25K.

There is a big difference between a traveling pro, and someone living in Vegas. Traveling is expensive. Air fares, rental cars, hotels etc will eat you up. I think someone moving to Vegas and trying to keep expenses really low and grind it could maybe start with 20. But they would have a much better chance if they move beyond counting right away.
