I was wondering that myself if surrendering after split does anything to edge. I was playing recently at casino that has surrender. I split 9/9 v 9 and received 7 on first one. Count was maybe slightly positive, so i paused for a second, i had never ever thought about surrendering after split. I asked if i could surrender and dealer said i could so i surrendered first one and then got 7 on second one and surrendered it also. Im thinking it is very rare to get opportunity to surrender after split since you dont split vs 10's and splitting vs Aces , 9's and 8's and getting the right index to surrender doesnt happen often. Does it add any value to surrender after splitting? Or is it always allowed at all casinos with surrender?

Unless you have enough cover play being done and play short sessions then no. You get heat much faster if you bet more than green.

Would there really be heat at a 6/5 game? Better to watch something else and let them play that one.

HL (50min) is almost always 3/2 with good rules
