    playing rated

i am 24 and often gets my id checked at casino. security guard usually puts it infront of the camera before letting me in which means they know my name and other details. so should i play rated as well which might help me get some free food or some gas money atleast.
is their any difference when they make me a club card. a club cards helps them to track my winnings?

By law, in many states age verification is not supposed to be shared by security with the casino. That is your private information that is supposed to be used to verify your age only and kept secure and seperate ONLY for that purpose. To share that information would be a breach of the law and your privacy rights. Your act of willingly giving them your ID to obtain a players card is another thing all together different. If you are a professional AP full time black jack player I think the consensus would be to keep your ID private if at all possible until you either are forced to for whatever reason ( ie.. to cash in chips or something similar ). I play rated in several local casinos I frequent to play without getting hassled by the pit boss. I play, I win ( most of the time ) I get free meals, hotel rooms, discounted gas and free black jack and slot play comps. When I travel out of state to play at a casino I intend to really do my best to get as much money from them as I can I don't play rated so I can come back again and repeat unless I am asked to leave or told I can play other games, just not black jack. It all depends upon what you feel is more important to your future as either a hobby black jack player or a professional full time AP player.

i consider myself fulltime. one casino knows i count cards, they have half shoed me but not backed off yet, i have lowered my play time after half shoe. so what do you think in this case? should i ask for comps or just stay low so they dont throw me out and get barred. comps might really help me at this point as my bankroll is not that big yet.
does making a club card and asking for comps make them back u off sooner?

A player's card shouldn't help them much with tracking your winnings if you're just counting, because you should be hiding your winnings. Especially if you're playing rated. Learn how to "rathole" or "go south" with chips. If you're playing a game with an 8% edge, it's pretty hard to hide.

The player's card gives them your information in case they think you're an AP. They they know who you are, and will share that information with other casinos. The risk in getting a player's card to count cards is you're risking burning out your name which can be used for other advantage plays. Plays that involve beating them with the card.

If you're getting half-shoed, you should give it a rest at that casino for awhile.

You say you're a full time player but you don't have a big enough bankroll yet? First, you might want to keep a day job or something to help build/rebuild your bankroll. Unless you have at least $50k as a bankroll I can't see how you could be a full time blackjack AP and make a living at it. Even if you are playing rated/players card if you push out max bets and start clearing the dealers tray you still run a risk of getting banned from playing blackjack. Its really good in my opinion if you have a local casino that you can go to frequently and play and get hours of play time in and make some money as well but you set limits. If you are already getting half-shoed you might want to consider going to another casino for a while and let things cool down. It's not rocket science, so ask yourself what do you want to get out of each casino you play at? More hours of play, earn some money, get some comps or try and clean them out in one session and run the risk of getting banned.
