I got roofied at a tribal casino.

The last thing I ever thought would happen to me is getting drugged at a casino. I always like to have a drink in front of me at the table for appearances and I don't order more than two a session so i don't get inebriated. I have no idea how it happened. I highly doubt a casino bartender would drug someone so I assume a non employee did it, but even so, with all the surveillance it just seems like something that just wouldn't happen. I'm not at all excited to share this, but would like to know if any of you have heard of something similar happening before. I checked my wallet the next day and it still had money in it and all my credit cards so it does not seem that I got robbed unless I got chips taken from me, so the motive is unclear.

This is disturbing. Is there a way to request the security footage?

Interesting. Only 2 possibilities. Casino had you drugged or a casino patron drugged you for whatever reason.

What stakes were you playing. Higher the stakes greater the probability of casino malfeasance. If high stakes, were you winn8ng and if so how much. Ask for the footage and say why - if they don’t react positively then it strengthens possibility of store tomfoolery.

More probable of a patron doing the dirty deed. Were you unconscious? If so, maybe your ID was copied for a future home visit. Any number of possibilities.

One last thought - are you sure you were drugged vs a plain old fashioned fainting spell. Do you have a heart or some other condition which could cause you to faint.

I started out at low stakes, but I don't remember anything after that, so who knows. It was kind of like going under for surgery. I remember being at the table and then just going completely blank till I remember security guards asking me for my address to send me home. Even then, everything was distorted, and I was not able to recite my address and I gave them my ID. I have no known heart issues, so it seems unlikely that it would be a health condition, but who knows? Anyway, I don't want to come back to this casino ever again, so I will leave this be. Stay safe everyone.

Never thought about the possibility of my home address being copied. I'll be vigilant, thanks.

You would have been safer asking for an ambulance for paramedics to check you out and possibly take you to a non-tribal hospital than showing your ID to casino security guards.

I agree. The thing is I was not in control. Hard to describe. Just don't be in the situation. over and out.

The balance of probabilities is that this was a non-gambling related issue.

There are unfortunately a disturbingly high number of such incidents of this in the general population. It is usually but not exclusively directed at young women, sex crime is generally the motive. Of all the evil things I have heard casinos do this isn't one of them and it is difficult to fathom a clear motive for them to do that.

I would not assume the bartender is innocent. That position can attract sociopaths since it gives them access to alpha male status and a pool of vulnerable people. That type of individual would enjoy committing crimes in plain sight. Whoever is responsible I would stay away from that general area as you say.

In future you will need a trusted person who will come and get you in an emergency: whether this is a criminal or medical issue.

Another thing that fits your description of events is a seizure; you might want to get checked.
