Sorry to be late in chiming in on this. I finally found some time to add the BB+1 rule to my software. A simulation of these rules (1 billion hands) yielded a 0.27% house advantage.
Some assumptions:
- All busted hands lose the full amount, even when doubled
- The +1 is taken from the first non-busted hand, except
- If surrender is taken vs the dealer's 10 (not offered vs Ace), then the hand result stands when the dealer has blackjack (i.e. this hand does not become the +1)
