What is the “correct rule of thumb”?
That page is interesting (https://www.qfit.com/card-counting.htm) How to interpret Ease? 1 mean the easiest to learn or the opposite?

Is there a system with no neutral cards ie all cards are graded.

.5% works great as a rule of thumb. If you're planning ahead to play a game, you should use sims to have better information. But if you just wander into a casino and they're offering single deck dealt to the last card and you need to play it, .5% works pretty good.

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage.
