Hey fellow card counters,I've been hearing a lot of rumors about the dynamics of playing multiple hands on a blackjack table, but all the tips sound more like gut feelings. So, I want to ask the professionals: How does playing multiple hands affect your EV and SCORE? Is there a perfect strategy (playing fewer hands when the count is x or more hands when the count is y)? Any ideas or insights are greatly appreciated!

Succinctly, the rule of thumb is: Spread horizontally in bad counts, spread vertically in good counts.

What about places that make you double your bet to play 2 hands?
I would assume then just stick to one hand in bad counts.
