    New Player

    Hey all,

New to this forum, exicted to be here.

Backstory on me, I love playing blackjack and I know basic strategy 85% I would say. First question what are the best ways to master basic strategy? I want to master this before starting to think about becoming an ap. Let me know if you all have any tips! Also I have been to multiple casinos around my area. a couple of them I have players cards. Will this affect me in the long haul?

    Thanks!

I would think in this day and age of instant information a simple google search is something even a 8 year old probably knows. Search engine: how to count cards in black jack... or Search engine: what is the best way to learn basic strategy... Being a boomer... I of course got books... novel idea this day and age..

I bet there even might be an app in the apple store as well?

Wish you best of luck Mangocooks.. And to answer your last question, no, having a players card to a couple of casinos will not affect you at all because right now, you are no threat to the casino.. and even some of the best black jack players have players card at some casinos, how do you expect to get all of those diamond Rolex's and champagne party rooms without one?

Best of luck to you on your journey.. I do hope you take advantage of probably one of the best resources for a future AP player and read the posts here and absorb the knowledge you can get.

Get CVBJ and use it. There is a learning curve, but it's more than worth the effort.
