    ID Scanner Issues

I am a young counter and I am having a hell of a time finding anywhere to play because of ID scanners. I made the mistake of wearing out my local joint much too quickly about a year ago. When I got backed off they knew my name already and didn’t even ask for my ID (I assume because they scanned it upon entry). I later learned that casino is a database participant and since then I’ve tried playing at 5 other casinos in the area (some who are not database participants according to CBJN) and at 3 of those places I’ve been denied entry or been told I can’t play blackjack. The other 2 I got about 30 minutes in before they backed me off. I am pretty young looking so there’s no realistic chance of me just walking past security. I went to vegas before I started counting and noticed that most casinos there don’t have ID scanners at the entrance because they’re typically attached to hotel lobbies. My three main questions are:
    1. If I travel somewhere a few hours away to a non-database casino is it still likely that I will be unable to play if they use ID scanners at the entrance?
    2. Are there areas other than vegas where it is less common for ID scanners to be used at the entrances?
    3. Would I still be identified as a card counter if I were to change my name or does this effectively act as a reset for any barrings/databasing? (This is not something I’m considering right now, more just curious and something I might consider if I got into full time advantage play at some point)

Has anyone tried suing these casinos for identity theft? Those scanners are for age verification. It's questionable to me whether it's legal for them to use something that they're requiring for legal compliance as a form of business intelligence.

Imagine if grocery stores scanned your ID when you bought cigarettes and created a shopper's card off of that to track you. It would definitely not fly.

Interesting concept. But I doubt it would work in court. I've seen nightclubs id men with grey hair. They don't trust the bouncers to correctly id and tell them to id everyone. And 40 years ago, grocery scanners were used to collect info on purchases, which they sold. (IBM System 7 computers)
