I’m a Mac user but in the market for a windows laptop solely to use with CV. Are there any system/hardware requirements to operate CVBJ or CVCX/CVdata? Want to make sure I don’t buy something that does not support or makes using CV difficult. Thanks in advance
Most anything that runs Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11. If you wish to run sims, faster is better. Other than that, just don't get a Chrome Book or something that doesn't run Windows applications. Microsoft is coming out with some that only run Microsoft Store apps.

For moderate use, an I5 or better from the past 5 years or so should be fine. If you want to run a lot of sims, you can get an I7 or I9 from the past 2-3 generations.
Graphics cards aren't as important as they are for gaming or graphics processing. You really just need processing power, a good cooling system, a power source, and a decent amount of RAM.
But computing power today is such that any decent laptop will be able to handle all your sim needs pretty quickly.
