Yesterday once again we were having record heat and I spent a couple hours pruning about 7 or 8 branches off the tree in my front yard. My snow blower needs 9 feet clearance to be able to do my path. I actually cut off the branches a couple of weeks ago, but had to cut them up to manageable size and then carry them out to my outback woods. I do have a manual pole saw.
Today brought my car in to see why the brakes are squeaking. Again near record heat.

It cost me $266 to have it looked at. However, I also got the tires rotated and an oil change at the same time which was included in the $266 price.
Nothing was wrong with the brakes as I just had a brake job last year. All he did was clean them up. Still squeaks some when first back out of garage, but not as bad.

I'm also getting "No Sweat" sports bets, but they are $10 max. I had an up by 7 points and win bet last night and used it on the Giants hoping they would get the ball first and score. No luck. Also a 50% profit boost which I didn't use. Its the casino promotions they cut me off from.
The last promotion I received from DraftKings was a 2 times tier promotion which was worthless to me since I already have made Diamond for next year and I won't make Onyx because I'm to far away. I need 50,000 more points for Onyx, but only make about 10,000 a month. With no promotions will only make a few more tier points.

Not a blackjack question but maybe someone can help. I'm not a sports bettor.
I would like to make a large bet on the NFL season and, if I lose, use a "risk free first bet" promotion to get as much of the lost money back as possible.
The backstory is, my brother would like to go to the Super Bowl if the Eagles qualify. (He did go last year.) The idea is for him, his wife, and I, none of whom have any sports betting accounts, to bet the Eagles to win the NFC. In effect, the bets on the Eagles would be a hedge against the cost of Super Bowl tickets.
More information than is needed, but so what, he would be taking his wife and son. The Super Bowl is in Las Vegas, and I will be living there by then. Thus, he can make the trip with no hotel or car rental expenses (although he got pretty good deals on both last year). And he and his family could actually have a good time if they went to Vegas but didn't actually go to the game, but just kinda soaked up the atmosphere around the game.
