    Question Basic Strategy and CVData/CVCX

    Hello all,

I am following up from a different thread where I asked if CVData or CVCX could spit out a basic strategy chart for a specific rule set and playing conditions. Norm confirmed that it can, my question now is what program can do this and how do you do this?

    Thanks in advance!

CVData. Can you tell me what kind of strategy you are talking about, here or by email? It can't examine every game never invented.

That's no problem. Just wanted to make sure you didn't have a rule like dealer can split on Mondays with a full moon.

Haha yeah. Could you share how I would go about having CVData spit out a basic strategy with this ruleset?

On the Setup screen, for the Simulator, select CVIndex.
Set your rules and other options on the other tabs.
On the Indexes tab, set any additional options related to strategy definition
Select Create, give it a name, and click Start Gen.

Hello Norm, how could I generate indices with CVIndex for 6D S17 DAS RSA ES10 and exclusively for OBBO, in the NHC section of the configuration the OBBO option does not appear.

Hmm, I turned off those options for some reason. Will have to look at the code.

It would be great if you could activate it again, more than anything to confirm an index, 8.8 vs T in OBBO discussed in: https://www.blackjacktheforum.com/sh...524#post312524
