Help with setting a complex basic betting strategy in CV

    Hey Norm,

I'm trying to setup a complex betting strategy with the basic strategy table. I set the count range from -10 to 10. I have reset after shuffle selected, and running count selected. None of the advanced cover options. That works fine but when I try enabling the sit out option, Start play @ RC >= -10 & Stop Play @ RC <= -11. Every time I bet no matter the running count I getting a betting error saying I bet too high and I have enter shoe multiple times selected. I'm not sure what the problem is, if you could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Bet too high isn't related to wonging; it's related to the amount bet. Go to File-Backup, create a backup file and email to [email protected]

Turn off Reset after Shuffle. This causes it to bet the first hand after a shuffle to the values set. That will override Wonging.

So I turned reset after shuffle off and I'm still getting betting errors.

It should say $0 if you bet before you have wonged in. Also, you have wong out at shuffle and enter shoe multiple times. You can't reenter if you never exit.

What exactly do you mean by wonging errors? It looks correct to me. You should get a warning when you bet right after a shuffle since you have yet to wong in.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm getting the errors even when the running count is at -10 or -9 like its telling me I shouldn't be playing when thats exactly when i want to play as per my configuration. Wong in Rc >= -10, Wong out Rc <= -11, maybe I'm misunderstanding something about how i set it up.

You have the back-counting table set only for six decks. That does not mean it will be used for all rounds in a six deck game. Click the ? and the help says:

? Use Back-Counting Table - When set, you can use the table in the center of the screen to enter wong-in and wong-out points. Many people set different points depending on how many cards have been dealt. Set separate values for the first deck, second deck, etc. You should fill in all rows. -99 to +99 indicates you will always play.

I set the back counting table, I am still having issues. I sent you a screenshot of my betting strategy settings and then a 7 second clip of what I'm experiencing.
