Hi
Well I called the Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division and spoke with an officer. They said since it's tribal they do not have the authority to force them to cash my chips out. They just suggested calling the casino and explaining the situation to them (lol, im sure they'd love to work with me there after just evicting me from my hotel room and threatening me if I ever came back).
I live in Atlanta and I mostly played the South so I was unknown in this region. I had an independent host give me some decent comps there and figured why not, they'll probably let me play one trip since I'm a new player and i'll collect all the freebies (this has worked before in tolerant casinos where I lasted several trips).
I think its better to play rated (if you can find a way to play under a clean name). Spreading and playing unrated is just a dead giveaway that ur a counter.
I spoke with an attorney, looks like the retainer is 2500$ and she can most likely argue a favorable deal, possibly just fine and keep it off my record. Worst case she it'll go on my record but jail time is highly unlikely.
Sadly not much. 500$ slot freeplay turned into 280$. Comped steak dinner which gave me food poisoning for 2 weeks (perhaps intentional, happened right before my backoff?!). Supposed to get 3 nights comped on their nice hotel, but got evicted on day 2.5. From blackjack I started off optimally departing their 300$ max shoe games spreading 2x50-2×300 optimally depart @ -1 true. Which 5.25-5.5/6 pen and dozens of tables this wasn't that bad. But I got sick of constantly getting up and searching for new tables so I broke down and started doing 2x100-2×450, drop to 1x50 on their 3.25/4 game play all. Then the backoff came. Won about 1000$ in the 3 days I was there. They fliered me nasty so I got very little time in at Canterbury and Treasure Island, playing mostly 300$ max tables. The flier also followed me to Iowa.
Long story short I drove 5000 miles (atlanta > Indiana > Illinois > Wisonsin > Minnesota > Iowa > Missouri > Kansas > Oklahoma > Louisiana > Mississippi > Atlanta) and barely got 3.5k in EV. Trip result was about 3k win.
One of my worst trips, if not the worst. Misdemeanor trespass charge, food poisoned, and hardly any EV generated. Had two 15k downsings amd CTRed twice. Only thing that went my way was I was basically spot on EV by the end.
I do blazing halves. 2x600 max bet. Sadly too many places on Minnesota and Iowa I couldn't do much more than 2x300 or 2x450. I think card counting is dead. I'm transitioning to getting a remote job and traveling. Cars counting is only viable as a very part time opportunity coupled with a full time job.
