Yes, the Bishop of the Church of Blackjack died this morning. One of the true greats in blackjack. Also one of the hardest workers, he investigated every nuance looking for an advantage. Sad day.

Amen.
Arnold Snyder was one the authors who inspired my playing over the years, and who inspired me to break molds and develop new, unusual, and sometimes more powerful playing strategies. I never met him, but own many of his exceptional thought-provoking books, and truly hoped that this year might be provide a chance to see him in person.
I'm sure many of you are much more close and will miss him greatly, but all the rest of us in the extended Blackjack community are saddened by the passing of our Bishop.

Thou shalt not overbet thy bankroll
For The Reverend Snyder that´s the ultimate sin
Better follow his advice religiously
If you´re striving for a win
Many will remember you, Bish. Sure I will. Rest in peace.

Was looking for some old files a couple years ago and ran into my membership in the Church of Blackjack. He was the very first person to see my software. Last I talked to him was before Max's party. I asked if he was going to wear a Tux.

The last we spoke was just after I read his latest book. Being a Melbourne local, I was interested to hear more about his chapter detailing his exploits at Crown. He was more interested in the politics of Australia post-pandemic and chastising our government's reaction to it! Haha.
