    Companion Offering to Our Book

Those of you who have purchased the recent joint venture by Don and me, The Hi-Lo Card Counting System: A Complete Guide to Index Play, may have seen that we included a teaser consisting of a graph for the holding 8,8 vs T. The graph shows the EV of all available actions across a range of true counts allowing you to visually see where the indices are. We promised that the complete set would soon be available online, and now that promise has been fulfilled.

I am pleased to announce The Hi-Lo Card Counting System: A Visual Guide to Index Play.

There is one set of graphs for each rule set examined in the book. They are now available individually or in bundles for a discount at:

    Don adds:
Available only online, each of the nine sets comprises hundreds of graphs that depict expected values for every player action on every holding against every dealer upcard for every reasonable true count. The amount of information contained in a single set of these graphs is truly staggering and exists nowhere else in such complete form. The graphs are entirely self-explanatory and are, unquestionably, an extraordinary reference tool.

I hope those of you who are interested find the information interesting and useful. Enjoy!

    Gronbog,

I assume that your visual guides are for Hole Card games only and always include some form of surrender?

Any word on the reprint of your Complete Guide to Index Play correcting the typos and omissions?

The book is now available from Amazon, and the one omission is corrected. Not aware of any typos.

    Don

P.S. Ah, yes, the Table of Contents listings had a section where the spreads were incorrect for DD. Corrected.

They are the same rule sets that we examined in the book:

    2D H17 DAS LS
    2D H17 NDAS LS
    2D S17 DAS LS
    2D S17 NDAS LS
    6D H17 DAS LS
    6D H17 NDAS LS
    6D S17 DAS LS
    6D S17 NDAS LS
    6D S17 DAS ES ENHC

The surrender indices are always included in the index charts in the book and in the graphs. If your game does not have surrender, you simply ignore them.

In the book we examined all of the above with and without surrender and at various levels of penetration. For the ES ENHC game, we examined ES, ES10 and no surrender.
