I just got into counting about 5 months ago. I’m 22 years old and don’t have much of a bankroll so I’m playing small units and a 1-10 spread. I was sort of dumb at the start and just played at my local casino (Hollywood at the Meadows). After about 2.5 months and probably 25-30 sessions I got a tap on the shoulder and was asked to leave and told I would be trespassed if I returned to play blackjack. I knew that day would come so I wasn’t too surprised, just a little nervous with it being my first back off. They knew my name, I assume from the ID scanners at the door, so they didn’t even bother asking me to see my ID again. About two weeks later (which was probably too soon) I decided to try my luck at Wheeling Island and I was backed off after playing for probably 45 minutes. I decided to just take some time off and see if I would cool off, but after two months I came to Live! Casino Pittsburgh and only played 2 hands before they sent me on my way. Is this an issue that I’m going to face anywhere they have ID scanners at the door now or if I travel to a different city/state will I have better luck? I’m really hoping that I’m not finished I love counting and while I’m obviously not playing full time it’s nice to have an activity I can enjoy while also making some extra cash. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
