I ran a simulation with 3 players plus the dealer, with one of the strategies incorporating 2 hands per round. This is a 6 deck shoe with 1.5 decks cutoff. According to CVData, the average number of rounds per shoe is about 10. However, when I do the calculation by hand for a quick estimate, the rounds per shoe works out to be approximately 17 (assumes 2.7 cards per hand). Why are the two figures so far off?

CVData reports 1.107E+9 rounds with 110,410,871 shoes simulated which yields 10.
My hand calculation is [(312*0.75)-1]/(2.7*5) ~ 17.
