Vegas and playing rated - r@mpart summerlin, etc.

Does it ever make sense to play rated in some of the small joints in that may not communicate with each other? Such as I’m not sure if r@mpart in summerlin is affiliated or databases? Does anyone else have intel on which Vegas joints don’t share info or are unaffiliated? I know stations playing rated will hamper your longevity but I was catching so much heat playing unrated at small R@mpart casino which I think is unaffiliated, I wonder if it’s worth it to play rated. After all, I can always change my legal name.

Anyone else like to play rated at smaller joints, etc? What are your thoughts? What about in the random Midwest and Penn /PNK casinos?

Furthermore, do you guys rathole and is suspicious is structure your cash outs under $3k to avoid giving ID or do you just put up a fight to not give ID and cash over $3k?

I always use my player's card at my local casino. I go there often and they know me anyway, so trying to be anonymous isn't practical. I rathole carefully but try not to go overboard or look suspicious. I also do some cover play at the Pai Gow table with my wife (her favorite game). This is mostly to keep my wife happy (so she doesn't "back me off" from going to the casino), but having some other games show up on the players card seems to make the casino feel better about my play. The casino's year end Win/Loss report shows me to be a loser of several thousand dollars, so they smile at me whenever I walk in the door. My wife has my actual Win/Loss results and that keeps her smiling at me. This particular casino's cashier cage will ask for ID for over $1,000 so I will keep my cash outs under that amount even if I have to make multiple trips to the cashier (or get my wife to "launder" some cash). I might cash out a larger amount if it matches what the pit bosses type into the system when I leave the table. I don't mind showing ID at the cage as long as the payout is consistent with what the casino already thinks they know about my play.

So, to answer your original question, I am probably staying anonymous on the Vegas strip, but at casinos back home that I go to often, I will always use my player's card since they are suspicious of non-rated players.
