    Unbelievable! What a Ride

Some background: A legal online casino in MI was offering a VIP promotion. It required so much play for $1,000 in free credits. You could choose from several different options or play them all. The best promotion was probably roulette and then the table games. The roulette promotion required only $25,000 in play on any of their roulette games and then you get $1,000 in free credits which only had to be played once. The table games promotion required $200,000 in play to get a $1,000 in free play. The promotion had to be completed in three and a half days.

I decided to play the roulette and blackjack games. The roulette game also counted towards the table games promotion so you only needed really $175,000 on the table games if you play roulette. Along with this promotion there was a leaderboard going on at the same time which also added to the promotion. I also had a 20% loss payback going on at the same time up to $2,000. I opted in and away I went with plans to make the required $200,000 play in three days.

Now the horror! I never seen anything like this before! I always plan out how many hours I need and what bet size I need to reach the promotion goal. I made my first buy in to be followed by two more. I had only about $22,000 in play and was down $5,000. How could this happen. I lost almost 25% of my action. I made one more several thousand dollar buy in and switched to Spanish 21 switching among the various blackjack games and the single zero roulette game. Yep, the game turned and I slowly grinded all the way back to even and then up over a $1,000 only to have the game turn again. At the $200,000 mark I was only ahead by $30. However, I did win $2,000 in free credits along with many points in the leaderboard.

Do you ever leave your house any more, or are you still snowed in?

Since the end of October I think I've only been out of my yard 3 times. One time for a doctor appointment, one time to get a new battery for my car, and the final time I walked a quarter block down the street after snow shoveling late at night to see what was lying in the snowbank. Yep, the guy forgot to bring in his garbage can and the snowplow half buried it in the snowbank. I thought it might have been a person and my curiosity got the best of me. By the way, I did find someone lying in the snowbank once. The wife does all the shopping so no need for me to go anywhere. Only used one tank of gas all winter long and the wife filled up the tank.

As far as being still snowed in a picture is worth a thousand words. Picture was taken today looking out into my backyard. Snow is forecast for tomorrow with a high of 27 degrees.
