    Stick with REKO?

I've been practicing keeping a running count for a while now. I've been doing it with REKO. Should I practice true count conversion and use a different system? Or is sticking with REKO viable long term?
From reading Modern Blackjack, REKO seems to have merits in its own right. But also seems like the extreme majority of APs use a system with true count conversion.

What do you all recommend I do?

Systems that don't require TC conversion are great for DD games since many people can't quickly and accurately divide by quarter decks, and that's what you should be doing. Maybe use REKO for those games for now and learn something with more deviations for shoe games. Switching between REKO and hi-lo is easy because the tag values are the same (except 7) and many of the deviations are the same, they just have different index numbers but that should't be an issue either since you only have one index number for REKO so it's easy to avoid confusion between the two systems.
