Thread: Theoretial Speedup of Dealer Conditional Probabilites

    I think my approach of using combined player and dealer hand compositions is promising, like i mentioned i believe i am the only person who adopted this approach, my code was written nearly 12 years ago so i havent really looked at any optimizations, i did however implement parallel computing and i get a nice speed up between serial and parallel version, 7x faster on a single core vs 16 cores

    You're the only one (that I know of) who uses a CDO strategy. Do you remember how you constructed your probability tree when computing CDO strategy?

    Oh yes, only one to use composition dependent optimal for splits to be precise!

    Edit: I have had some push back in this past using this approach, because some people consider that cards in the other split hands should not be taken into account when deciding the playing strategy. I dont necessarily agree with that but i digress...

    Conditioning on all cards enables us to get the theoretically optimal return to any specific stratey as well as giving us a playable strategy at the table (if one could use a computer at said table.)
