Paying $50 for 20 mins of time. Please help Build CVData Side Bet Game

As title says. I'm really not tech savy and it would save me so much more time if just shown directly. Than posting screen shots and going back and forth. Figured through zoom or discord screen share I'd nail it in a few minutes.

I just want help in building the "tree" with main game decisions with a side game count.

Clearly in the picture below. I've done something horribly wrong

    Thanks In Advance!

(Edit let me screen shot step by step)

You would need to explain much more fully. But, what you are doing would certainly cause a negative result.

So I'm trying to start a sim using a $25 (1 unit) flat bet on main game while counting Lucky Lucky and betting (3 unit).

These are the steps I took below. Unless I'm doing something horribly off, I'm so confused.

Am I supposed to check mark the box with "use side count" under the Enable SideBet1 section under Side Bet?

I want to bet at TC > 6, at 3.0 units ($75) so I assume that's what I plugged in.

    InxipPN.jpg

I assume I do not touch the 678, 777 on the left because these are "bonuses" and the pay table are already covered in the Lucky Lucky file that we loaded.

    XLD5ahP.jpg

As seen, primary game strategy is a simple flat bet 1 unit throughout all TC.

We have also defined the count for the side bet. Unit size $25.

I cannot seem to do a 0 unit bet under TC5. Then I had the realization this is for the main game betting scheme. But how about the side bet?

    So yep. After inputting everything. I still come out with this;

Simming for a 2D 75% Pen game. Flat betting $25 min, play all. And betting $75 (3 units) at TC6 for sidecount.

    20 to 1 Spread,

Uncheck the box above the "<" symbol in the lower-left-hand corner of the above screen. Right now you're telling CVData to place the SB whenever the count is LESS THAN +6. By unchecking the box, you'll be telling CVData to place the SB whenever the count is greater than or equal to +6.

As for your question about the "use side count" option, allow me to make a suggestion. Since you are using B.S. to play the hand, I would suggest that you create a new playing strategy called "BS with LL SB". Define the strategy by basing it on the "Complete Basic Strategy" already in CVData, then simply input the card tags that you showed for your SB strategy. This way, when you later view your output, the count shown will be the SB count.

For more details, go to page 3 of the link below and read the two "Primer" posts I made:

    Hope this helps!

P.S. Norm, how can I provide a direct link to a particular post in a thread?

Also, your shuffle point is set at 25% penetration, not 75%.

The numbers seems to check out with rough estimates by hand.
