What do you do when you spot an AP at your table?

It has never happened to me. Perhaps they spotted me first and just left. I don’t know. I usually play low limit tables, that, unfortunately, are often crowded (2-3 other players), so maybe APs avoid my tables.

My plan is to ignore the fact they are playing like an AP, and play perfectly. And not leave.

Is there an unwritten rule to leave if they were there first? Do you both just play anyway? Do you play “chicken” and see who leaves first? Do you politely take turns in high counts? Does it depend - if so, depends on what?
