Do Pit Bosses Enjoy Finding Counters??

I had one pit boss tell me, “It’s good you’re coloring up. With the way you’re spreading, they will start watching you.” I had another one tell me, “Card counting is too much work. I don’t know why they do it. I play blackjack myself. I just want to have fun. Counting is like a job.”

I had a dealer friend who said she spent zero time looking for counters - she had WAY too many other things to worry about as a dealer.

They have other people to do that….

Counters are small potatoes compare to some other techniques.

Nope. I have seen pit boss say he welcomes counters. And it is not his responsibility to detect or ban counters. He also said most counters fail because BJ is a very complicate game. It is up to upstairs surveillance team to determine which AP are real threat and trespass them. His advice is when you see surveillance team come downstairs, run before they reach your table.
