    CVBJ Question

Playing CVBJ on Hi lo setting. The index number for 12 vs 4 is 0. So at zero TC to negative you are supposed to hit, right? I just hit and it told me it was an incorrect play. Had the same thing happen with 12 vs 6 @ -3. Any help? Thx

make sure you have selected Hi-Lo as your playing strategy, and these full indexes are included

Hit less than, not less than or equal to.

Is it the opposite in positive counts? In other words, if I have a 9 VS 2 at a TC count of +1 do I double or not unless it's higher than +1? What about 16 VS 10? The index # is 0.

For doubling, double down at and above the index. Simply hit if below the index.

For hit/stand decisions, hit below the index, stand at and above the index.

So, index of zero is a piece of cake, if you're flooring true counts. Any positive RC is "stay". Any negative RC will be floored to a negative TC, and you'll hit.

If you're quite new and the logic is confusing to you, just remember for these situations, "hit below the index." A bit of practice and you won't have to think about which decision makes sense.

Reading indices from the double table, you will double at that index and above. For the situations you posted, you will double at +1 or higher and stand at 0 and higher.

If you look at the bottom left of the charts/tables, it tells you specifically what to do, if the TC is less than, greater than or equal to, etc. That was likely your issue.
