Zen SCORE unfavorable comparison when backcounting is activated in CVCX?

Hi, I'm relatively new to this. I thought I realized I wanted to use the zen count as I decided some extra effort getting a few extra percent is worth it. I have been practicing for a few weeks and everything looked fine when I checked it out using CVCX. But today I noticed whenever I selected zen original full indexes and I checked the backcount option(set it to 0, 1, etc)and hit the "compare all" option on the top tab, zen original full index would not be in the top few SCORES as when the backcount option is not checked. Strategies such as hi opt 2 with side count, FELT, Hilo, Omega2 with side count and others would have a higher score. Not sure if this is a newbie question, but can anyone explain? Thanks.

I've attached a first pic of without backcounting(where the zen SCORE is in the top few) and a second pic of backcounting and the zen is outscored by others. (I've tried changing decks, playing two hands, and other parameters, it's the same results)zen no backcount.jpgzen backcount.jpg

Ahh, CVCX supports estimating backcounting after a sim is run or calculating the exact values if backcounting is defined before the sim is run. The second option was added after the Compare All function and it isn't accurate if there is a mixture of pre- and post-backcounting sims. I may drop that function. I didn't even remember it existed.

Ok, again, I'm pretty new to cardcounting. Do you mean, the second picture, of zen comparison SCORE with backcounting, is probably inaccurate?
If so, should I assume that, with or without backcounting, zen original full index should continue to score in the top few as depicted in the first picture? Thanks again.

Yes. But also realize that the canned sims were run with different numbers of indices as they were run according to the books in which they were published.
